Rev. Dr. John I Prabhu
Rev. Dr. JOHN PRABHU is an ordained pastor and travelling evangelist since 2004. He believes the Bible is the inspired word of God.
He accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour at the age of 13 while he was studying in boarding school. The very next year he received water baptism by the world renowned preacher Rev.Victor Gnanaraj. At the age of 17, the Lord Jesus called him to serve Him. So he pursued Masters in Divinity and later he came to the full time ministry
He started evangelising through street preaching, tract distribution, village ministry, tribal ministry, film ministry, hospital visiting, children ministry and youth ministry.
He started his own ministry named “Nations Trumpet Ministries” to reach the nations and he stays under the apostolic covering of his senior minister and father Rev. M. A. James Durairaj and is the associate pastor of a fast-growing church at Trichy in South India.
The Lord has been using him in the area of Prophecy: to the nations, to individuals, to various churches and he also mentors through phone and web. He also moves in deliverance, healing and impartation of ministerial gifts.
He has a strong passion to raise next generation leaders and to strengthen the body of Christ. With that zeal, he is going on mission trips both in India and other countries, conducting gospel crusades, youth conferences, television programmes and teaching in power camps.
Recently, he has been awarded with a honorary doctorate in ministry by The Good News International University, Chennai.
Rev.John Prabhu and Sophia John are proud parents of two little princesses.
